Here We Go Again!

The Millers are back on the road again!  After coming back from a fabulous trip to Alaska, I got the urge to go to San Francisco to see Brent and Jackie.  After consulting them about a time that worked for both of them, we decided on Sept 28.  As usual, we had a 6:00 am flight and had to get up at 3:15 to get ready.  Of course, neither one of us could sleep so by the time we arrived, we were already worn out!  Brent was working and Jackie met us at the airport and our first stop was In and Out Burger.  Mmmmmmm..........

We met Brent at the Center for New Music and his replacement was just arriving so we were able to leave and go to their place.  Later that afternoon we checked in at the Carl Hotel, a small hotel near them.  The room was tiny with a double bed but the guy was right; it was clean and comfortable.  The downside was that it was on the street where the train ran so the first night was pretty noisy since we had to have to window open to cool off the room.  

We had Happy Hour at a place called Social and then went to eat dinner at Park Chow.  We were just exhausted by this time so it was back to the hotel and we were in bed by 8:30 and probably asleep by 8:35!  

So, get ready to tour San Francisco with us and then move on to Yosemite, Grants Canyon and Sequoia National Parks!  It was absolutely awesome!
